East Ayr Mural

At the School Leaders Presentation on 23 February we unveiled our new mural, which has been attached to the wall of our Jubilee Stage.

This mural measures 6M x 1.2M and depicts the life of students at East Ayr over the past 50 years.  It is set up over the themes of education, sport, and the arts.

This mural was designed and painted by our very talented teacher aide and former teacher, Mrs Robyn Laidlow.  This was done in her spare time over the Christmas Vacation.  A big thank you to Mrs Laidlow for this mural - it’s fantastic.

The mural was unveiled by Mrs Laidlow, Mayor Mrs McLaughlin, Reg Cornford (1st day student) and Jasmine Nahow (present Year 1 student).  Take some time to have a look at our mural next time you’re up at school.
